Team Grande of the CSE Department showcased their exceptional talent by securing the 2nd Runner-up position at the Digital Innovation Challenge for Women 2023.
Team Grande, comprising of participants Ellora Yasi and Maliha Zerin from Level 4, from the CSE Department, achieved an impressive feat as the 2nd Runner-up at the Digital Innovation Challenge for Women 2023. The inauguration ceremony, held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, marked the beginning of the event, which aimed to inspire and empower women in digital technology. The contest reached its culmination with a prestigious award-giving ceremony on May 14, 2023. Team Grande's exceptional performance not only earned them well-deserved recognition but also a cash prize of BDT 20,000. Additionally, as part of their winnings, they will receive access to a product development facility and valuable support in safeguarding their ideas through copyright protection. The event was organized by Woman in Digital, a dedicated organization that was established in 2013 with the mission of nurturing a new generation of female leaders and entrepreneurs in the country.
