In a significant stride toward national digital sovereignty, a high-level delegation from Fiber@Home, led by Chairman , visited the MIST Cyber Range on January 11, 2026. The visit, conducted at the invitation of Major General Md Nasim Parvez, BSP, ndc, afwc, psc, Commandant, MIST, highlighted the success of a visionary initiative aimed at securing the nation’s technological landscape. As the architect of this indigenously developed project, the Commandant’s leadership has positioned MIST at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation, bridging the gap between advanced academic research and critical industry requirements.
The engagement featured a comprehensive appraisal session led by Mr. Sheikh Islam, Advisor to the MIST Cyber Range, and his expert technical team. The delegation was presented with an in-depth demonstration of the Range’s sophisticated, homegrown scenarios and its robust capabilities in simulating complex cyber-defense operations. Impressed by the technical excellence and the strategic utility of the facility, the Fiber@Home leadership expressed their high satisfaction and strong endorsement of the project.
