International Seminar on Mega-Structures 2021 (Registration Link)
International Seminar on Mega-Structures 2021 is organized for the very first time by the Department of Civil Engineering of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). In a time of pandemic to avoid any possible health issues and to ensure safety the “International Seminar on Mega-Structures 2021” is going to be conducted on the online platform by Zoom and Facebook live. Zoom Id and Password will be provided after the registration is done. The event will be held on 12 December 2021 from 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The event topics consist of:
1. Planning and Management of Mega-structures in Bangladesh
2. Lessons from World Landmark Mega structures
3. Challenges in Constructing Padma Multipurpose Bridge
4. Lesson Learnt from Construction of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel
Chief Guest will be Mr. Khandker Anwarul Islam,Cabinet Secretary,Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
